What's in the Box
1 AirVac bag, 1 electric pump, and 1 USB to USB-C charging cable. A USB power adapter is not included.
How to Use
- Fold clothes flat and load them through the zipper opening. Leave a little room so it closes cleanly.
- Close the airtight zipper fully, pulling it all the way along with no fabric caught in it, so the seal is firm.
- Attach the pump to the one-way valve and switch it on. No pump handy? Press the bag by hand instead.
- As the bag shrinks, press down on it to squeeze out the last of the air.
- Remove the pump and close the valve cap.
- To unpack, open the zipper.
Good to Know
Is it really waterproof?
The nylon fabric and zipper are designed to keep moisture out.
Does compression make my bag lighter?
No. It saves space, not weight. Your clothes weigh the same, so check your airline's weight limit.
Will my clothes wrinkle?
Compression can leave creases, especially in cotton and linen. Fold flat before sealing, and steam or hang items when you arrive.
Do I need the pump?
No. You can press the air out by hand through the one-way valve, but the pump saves effort.
Can I reuse the bag?
Yes. Open the zipper, repack, and compress again, even at your hotel.
How do I charge the pump, and can I repack on the road?
Use the included USB to USB-C cable with a USB power adapter or power bank. Neither is included. Because it charges over USB-C, you can top it up while traveling.
How is it different from regular vacuum bags?
Regular vacuum bags are often thin, see-through plastic made for storage. AirVac is made for travel, with waterproof nylon, an airtight zipper, a one-way valve, and a top carry handle.
How much will it compress?
It depends on what you pack. Soft, bulky items like sweaters and jackets compress the most.
Can I fly with it?
Compression bags are generally allowed through security, though an officer may inspect your bag. The pump has a rechargeable battery, so keep it in your carry-on and check your airline's rules.
